Hello My Lovelies!

I'm just posting this last blog here at 52Flavors to inform you of the big move. All my blogging activities can now be found at ( I have been unable to keep up with the demands of a nail blog now that I am working with two small infants 45-50 hours per week. When I used to have 3 older girls in my charge it was easier to polish my nails more often AND blog about it. Now, I'm happy if I get in one polish change during the week. That's why my posts here on this site have been so infrequent.

Check out the first post on my new site, "Come Stand Under My Umbrella" for a description of the new content, which of course will still include a big element from 52Flavors. I just can't give it up that easily. My nails and FLAVOR are still so very important to me.

I hope that most of you can make this move with me and enjoy all the components of my blogging personality. If not, it was awesome having you around and I will definitely continue to keep up with all the polish bloggers' posts.

Hugs n' luv,

Hello All!

Again, I've gone a'rambling through my large collection of digital pictures of all the pics I've taken of my nail polishing efforts over the past year or so. I found these in my January 2010 folder. I had finally gotten around to using my very first matte polish, "Dovima" by Zoya. Check it out:

A Product Review: Salon Plus Nail Polish Remover Pads

Hello Colorful Cuties!

As you all may or may not know, I am a big fan of nail polish remover pads. I find myself switching my polish on the go or removing it all together if I find it looking too horrible for words. I hate nothing more when it comes to nail beauty than chipped gross!

Anyway, I picked up a box of nail polish remover pads from K-Mart recently. These are by Salon Plus and for six individually wrapped felt pads saturated in non-acetone polish remover, you pay around $3.00:

I don't know why I always feel the need to challenge these products with the hardest jobs ever, every time but I do. I charged this poor little product with the job of getting off a polish with a lot of glitter in it. I was wearing "Crystal Ball" by China Glaze at the time and decided to see just how strong this product actually is. To my surprise, the Salon Plus remover pads did very well under pressure! One pad was able to remove all that highly textured polish from from 8 of nails:

I was highly impressed! If this Salon Plus polish remover pad handled that strong polish so well, a polish with less/no glitter and just a couple of coats will be nothing at all. I got mine at K-Mart, but I'm sure these are available everywhere. It would be cool if this company sponsored a giveaway?? *hint-hint*

At any rate, ever since I tried this, I've kept one in my purse in my makeup bag just in case there is a polish emergency. Hey, you never know!

Unsolved [nail polish] Mystery starring "???" by Zoya

Hello Polish Pretties!

OK, I was [digitally] rambling through some old nail polish pictures from the past couple of months and found these from January. I had them labeled as "Mystery Zoya" and I wondered why I didn't label them with the name as I usually do. It's a beautiful color, either way:

I went to my stash and pulled the color and realized that I didn't know because the little sticky label with the name on it was gone! LOL!!

Any of you experts know what Zoya color this is???

Thanks for reading (and helping),
